Hiiii, I’m Solx (they/them/elle) I am a mixed (both mexican & german ancestry), gender fluid & queer intuitive herbalist and community medicine maker. The plants chose me in childhood and were a safe source of connection and a crucial part of my survival. Throughout my upbringing my care givers & elders used remedies, rituals & shared stories rooted in what we know as traditional Mexican medicine. This is a center of my practice, one both rooted in re memberance, relationship & re connection.
I started making medicine as care & mutual aid for community beginning in 2021 until the Spring of 2024 alongside a collective of gender expansive bipoc plant people, care workers, activists & artists. I have learned from Hood Herbalism, both their intro & grounded roots class and a level 1 curanderismo mentorship.
